This event is held each year on the first Saturday of August. This year’s event will be held on August 2, 2025.
From 10:30-12:30 The Slate Creek School open house – 1603 Slate Creek Rd, Hartsville, NY. This even is hosted by Town Historian Steve Amidon.
The rest of the day’s events will be at Purdy Cliffs Barn – 5242 Purdy Creek Rd, Hartsville, NY
1 pm – Bring large dish to pass for meal. Meat and drinks are provided Stearns BBQ Chicken compliments of Historical Society
Outdoor Activities
2:30 pm – Tractor /old car parade with Wagon rides. Tractor judging contest with prizes behind the barn following parade judging by kids 12 and under.
3pm Corn Hole Tournament, $20 per team. Prize, 50% of total earnings. Sign up for tournament on day of event or for more information contact Casey Payne 607-382-7527.
5-8 pm Barn Dance with Dale Olin’s Band. Get ready to kick up your heels to a foot-stompin, hand-clapin’ barn dance.
Outdoor activities for adults and kids throughout the afternoon.
Tractor Slow Race, Hay bale toss, Face painting, Bounce house, 50/50 Raffle, Corn Hole Tournament, Basket Raffle, barn dance and more.
All are welcome, ATVs welcome, stop by anytime throughout the day.
